Did you pick only those states because of weather/climate reasons?'
Or is it for other reasons?

California and Hawaii were on my list too but mostly for other reasons.

That is interesting you would only pick Washington state. What reasons do you have for that?

Washington state was on my list but 10 other states were too.

Considering that you picked those states, I am a bit surprised you would have Virginia, New Hampshire, Michigan, and Wisconsin on your list.

Wisconsin
Illinois
New York
California
Washington
Massachussetts
Pennsylvania
All of those states made my list too, with the only exception of Wisconsin.

What reasons do you have Wisconsin on your list.

Wow. I am surprising you have Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, and Virginia on your list(Washington DC technically is not in the state of Virginia).

Also, why no other states outside the Northeast region?

Illinois, California, Washington state are some states that seem better for you preferences than Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, etc.

Well, for one thing the east coast region feels more like home to me, the culture and mentality fits better with me. I simply like the cities, the history and the area as a whole more than any other region.

New York City, as you know, is the #1 place for me. So, I can see myself enjoying living in the tri-state area (New York, New Jersey or Connecticut). Washington, DC is #2, so that includes the Maryland suburbs and northern Virginia. Those are the states I would most enjoy living in.

After that, I would say Boston or Philadelphia is #3. As a city, I like Boston more than Philadelphia. However, I like Philadelphia's location much better. So, that's Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.

I'm not a big fan of living in the midwest. And the west coast has beautiful natural scenery. But I'm not too keen on living there. I'm not that interested in it from a cultural standpoint. I have nothing personal against those places though.

I can't speak for Thepastpresentandfuture, but why wouldn't you have Wisconsin on this list? Many, many parts of Wisconsin are stunning, and tourism is a huge industry here (because so many people love it).

Weather, Beaches, People, Lifestyle etc.
I just think these 3 states (California, Florida, Hawaii) are the best especially for a foreigner.
