Cost of living - raising a family in mind (on median salary)
Outdoors - nature/water
Urbanity - walkability
Aesthetics - picturesque neighborhoods/business district
Architecture - authentic buildings/landscape
Sports - loyal fan base/recreational options
Economy- diversified job/housing market
Public transportation - bus/rail/metro coverage within city limits
Diversity- multiple ethnic groups represented
Growth - rapid influx of transplants over last 20 years
Livability - climate/pollution/crime

Chose between the following 10 cities due to size (feel free to add pics and data to support claim):

I don't think any of these are single word cities because technically they all are officially called "city of ..." or "...... City"

Not sure I "get" the concept, as it is an unusual one that excludes New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New Orleans, and countless others. But I will play along, based on your criteria, I will go with my hometown, Seattle. Recreation, mild weather, economics, growth, reasonable cost of living, etc.
