We all have different requirements as to what cities should offer. I happen to think Savannah is a beautiful city with great cultural attractions. Sue me.

There is definitely some home cooking going on with Savannah, swamp collards and buttery breath has you fooled, even Paula Dean's restaurant website has a picture of a guy slamming a bud light. Why spend money on such a wretched place, they must be dropping tons of tourism dollars into that place. They have ladies parading around in Hey Y'all aprons and calling it culture. I'm sure the place has it's merits but if a magazine or something posted Savannah in a top 5 list I would set the thing on fire and cancel my subscription immediately.

I've never heard of Paula Dean. I spent some time in Savannah a few years ago and loved it. I don't think I have ever seen anyone in a "Hey Y'all"apron either.
Lots of Jazz, some nice art galleries, beautiful architecture, some excellent restaurants and a lot of history. And tons of open air events like plays, concerts and I also love the Opera House. The people were incredibly friendly and hospitable too.
1. Minneapolis
2. Baltimore
3. Washington DC
4. Seattle
5. San Diego
I'm rather surprised by all the folks including Minneapolis. I really like it, but thought I was a bit unusual (at least out west - many people here aren't familiar with it).
