Another "it's Sunday afternoon and I'm bored thread".

For all the metro areas - large ones, with several counties - in your state/ region... what is their fastest growing county, either percent, actual numbers, or both? What is the county like.. highly educated? high income blue collar? etc?

I'll start..

Lexington KY metro area
Percent - Scott Co/ Georgetown +42.7% (33k to 47k)

* is home to a HUGE Toyota assembly plant, btw Lexington & Frankfort the state capitol, know for having a good public school, mod level of education level (26% have a college degree)

Numeric - Fayette Co/ Lexington +35,291 (260k to 295k)
* Central county, home to Univ of KY and many jobs

Louisville KY IN metro area
Percent - Spencer Co +45.0% (11k to 17k)
* Tiny rural county just east of Louisville. No McDonalds and maybe 4 gas stations. Parts of county are 10 minutes from major job centers in Eastern Louisville
Has low level of college education (16%), mostly high income blue collar workers
Numeric - Jefferson Co/ Louisville +47,489 (690k to 741k)
* Central county, home to lots of jobs

Cincinnati OH KY IN metro area
Percent - Boone Co KY +38.2% (85k to 118k)
* 10 to 20 miles south of Downtown Cincy, home of Cincy's Int'l airport, home to largest shopping area in the entire metro area. Mod level of education (26% college degree)
Actual - Warren Co OH +54,204 (158k to 212k)
* Located right btw Cincinnati and Dayton, high level of education (34% w/ college degree), home to Kings Island
