In order from most desirable to me to not as desirable;

1. New York (where I already live- couldn't be happier!)
2. Hawaii (if I land a HIGH-PAYING good job there)
3. California (the bay area is appealing to me)
4. New Jersey (it would be interesting to live on the other side of my metro area)
5. Pennsylvania (I always found the Pennsylvania countryside gorgeous, peaceful and serene especially while driving on I-80. I would retire there.)

1. Oregon/Washington (the first being my home)
2. Colorado
3. Northern Arizona
4. New York
5. Pennsylvania

If I had to stay in California, I'd probably move to the Northern half, where I live sucks.

1. Northern Cal. (my future career has a huge footprint in the area)
2. Massachusetts (since I'm a huge fan of the UK, this is as close to the UK [for major cities] as its going to get in America)
3. Maryland (need I say more)
4. South Carolina (I dislike most of the state except the Upstate, which is great distance of both Atlanta and Charlotte)
5. Washington (the scenery is Amazing and it's also a area where my career has a huge footprint in)

I'm surprised Hawaii isn't more popular. Assuming I had a job that could support me there:

Hawaii
Oregon
New York (City)
South Carolina
Washington

Well, maybe it's due to the fact that Hawaii is so far from the "mainland" US.
