The title is confusing, but let me clarify. I want to know what city in your metro area represents the whole metro area most accurately demographically. Let me start with an example:
My metro area is Dallas/Fort Worth. Our demographics are:
50.2% White
27.5% Hispanic
15.4% Black
5.9% Asian
Based on that, the city in our metro area that most closely resembles it is Lewisville. Its demographics are:
49.6% White
29.2% Hispanic
11.8% Black
8.4% Asian
So, what city in your metro area is most demographically in line with the area as a whole?
44.9% Hispanic
33.6% Non-Hispanic White
12.1% Asian
6.6% Black
Honestly, I think the City of LA is the best because it covers just enough areas to have large enough Hispanic, White, Asian, and Black populations due to the weirdly drawn city borders.
City of Los Angeles
48.5% Hispanic
28.7% Non-Hispanic White
11.1% Asian
9.2% Black
In Houston, probably Missouri City or Sugarland (other than Houston itself)
Very diverse, tolerant, educated and friendly
