I think they have changed the Georgia flag, taking away history.

Going with attractive and/or unique, I would choose a few.

Arizona (colorful)

California (From what my eyes can see, it's the only one with an animal except for an Eagle). Whoops, I think I see a few with small horses.

Ohio and Puerto Rico (pretty cool and similar)

Actually, they're all nice in their own way.

They put the Confederate battle emblem in the GA flag in the 1950s in order to protest the Brown vs Board decision. It was very controversial when they changed the flag here a few years ago and it was a good thing. Why have such a decisive emblem to represent our state? Anyway, the new flag is better and is based off of the original Confederate flag. As a black American, I don't mind seeing Confederate memorabilia since it is indeed part of history, but such a decisive symbol as the battle flag--it doesn't have a place in representing ALL citizens of Georgia.

As for my favorite flags I would go with South Carolina and Colorado. Honorable mentions go to Tennessee, North Carolina, Texas, Alaska, Maryland, Alabama, Florida, Hawaii, and Arizona.

Nope. This is it.

It looks a lot better and is way less offensive while at the same time, it still acknowledges Georgia's Confederate past.

I like Marylands, its very European in its look, which I like. Im a fan of the classic eagle flags, so naturally states like Iowa, Illinois, etc catch my eye, theyre very patriotic looking. New Mexico's flag is beautiful too, simple and very southwestern in its look/feel.
