South Carolina, followed by New Mexico, Alabama, Alaska, and Rhode Island.

I like Illinois's, but in Chicago I never even see it! The Chicago Flag, yes. State flag, no. (Chicago does have a very cool flag, though...)

TEXAS! I like New Mexico's, and Tennessee's' .Puerto Rico's is cool... although not a state....what is weird is that Hawaii has the UK flag thingy on it... Ohio's is nice too, but none of them even compare to TEXAS
DC and the NEW Georgia flag looks cool too

Alabama's flag cracks me up everytime I see it. It closely resembles the confederate flag... I bet this was no mistake haha

Of course it's not a mistake. Same for Florida. I'm not sure why this is funny.

Some folks contend that the starry diagonals (and the red field) of the Arkansas flag are those of the Confederate cross saltire, rearranged into a diamond.

I could also point out that the single star of the North Carolina and Texas flags is the "same" as that of the Bonnie Blue flag, although that symbolism predates the Confederacy.

If you made an effort to look it up, you'd find that Alabama's flag is patterned after Scotland's St. Andrews flag, a red cross on a white field. Many Alabama settlers originated in Scotland.

Absolutely, without a doubt, South Carolina has the best state flag. Following closely behind South Carolina is New Mexico. Anyway, here is my top 10:

1. South Carolina
2. New Mexico
3. Washington D.C.
4. Maryland / California (tie)
5. Hawaii
6.Tennesee
7. Arizona
8. Alaska
9. Washington
10. Oregon (vintage look)

Georgia. I love the sight of the Confederate Flag.

Alabama comes in at a close second.
