What do you think would be the first state to be redrawn, or the state that most needs to be redrawn.

AGFC18...quick, close the poll!

[Edit: I chose TX but CA would have been a tie. However, being where I am I would love to see NYC & Long Island made into it's own state.]

Miami needs to be redrawn from the rest of Florida. It's a unique U.S. city. NYC is a city-state IMO. It needs to be redrawn from the rest NYS.

I'll bite...

I think that the southern one-third of Illinois should probably go to Missouri; it doesn't seem to fit with the rest of Illinois....

Maybe someone should really work on the map of Maryland; "strange" doesn't begin to describe it..

California needs to be split into 2 or even 3 states--Southern California would be split off to the south of the northern borders of San Luis Obispo, Kern, and San Bernadino Counties. After that Northern California could be one state or split into smaller city-states like People's Republic of San Francisco/Berkeley and the Silicon Valley Trade Federation, along with the Central Valley which will be renamed Newer Mexico, and the the Northern Coast counties which will be the Emerald Triangle(after which they can finally legalize weed). The northernmost counties can finally enact the long-desired merge with Southern Oregon as the State of Jefferson, after which no one will ever pay any attention to them ever again.

Also New York City and Long Island should be made part of New Jersey...Which would henceforth be renamed New York. Then the Giants and Jets would finally actually play at a stadium in New York and people from New Jersey can stop bragging about how close Jersey is to New York. The rest of what was New York State can then rename itself whatever it wants.

Also Florida should be completely balkanized as well, with Miami becoming the capital of New Cuba, Northern Florida going to Alabama and Georgia, and the central part of the state just being divided between Greater Disneyworld and what's left of the Holy Land Experience. Everything else will be ruled by alligators.

I just want Georgia's northern border to have that 1 mile northward that was supposed to be ours, that would help with the droughts significantly with nickajack and other bodies of water (hell, just give us Chattanooga it's more like GA anyways).

Consolidate all 6 New England states into one state called New England. Or at least have Rhode Island be absorbed into CT or MA.
