I think Maryland. I mean, wtf? It's a very random shape and only serves to be the "area between PA and VA.

Maryland and Florida for sure are the most awkward looking in my opinion.

Louisiana on the other hand is the coolest shaped in my opinion with their boot shape lol.

Maryland is what you get when you charter a new state but lose every border dispute you get involved in. West Virginia is what you get when you take most of the worthless agricultural land in Virginia and break away.

Missouri is kind of funny-looking too. It has that little "boot" down in the southeastern corner to throw off the visual balance a bit. Oh yeah, and it looks like it's trying to stuck a thumb up the ass of Illinois.

Anybody else think that Nebraska is a funny-looking state?

Nebraska looks like it lost a bet with Colorado...

Idaho's kind of a weird looking state--it sort of looks like a hand giving the middle finger to Washington to the east. Which in a way it sort of is... The legend is that originally the boundary between what became the Idaho and Montana territories was supposed to be the Continental Divide--until a drunken survey party ended up on the wrong mountain ridge and moved the border further west over to the Bitteroot Range. Although apparently others claim this isn't true. Nonetheless, the narrow Idaho panhandle is sort of a weird case--just like Oklahoma.
