I was watching local (MN) videos on Youtube when I came across one with a VERY strong Minnesota accent. If you ever needed a representative for the MN accent, it's the narrator of this video:

This video has some good examples of what the accent is like in rural Michigan, especially on the west side of the state. It definitely has its own unique flavor, even compared to the stereotypical Midwestern accent. Notice how the guy by his truck pronounces words like "roof". This is very typical in this area. The last woman in the video is extremely nasally, though. Most of us are not quite that nasally.
