Is this a standard Mormon style? I will grab a pic and post it, but that is identical to a building they just built in a Kansas City suburb, the statue and everything
Mormon temples are enormously varied. Mormon chapels (where they go for regular Sunday worship) are, on the other hand, pretty similar around the world.
The Miami Art Museum is located downtown in the cultural plaza and is quite small compared to other cities and it's permanent collection includes artists from the second half of the Twentieth Century and Contemporary works by;Purvis Young,Jose Bedia,Joseph Cornell.Kehinde Wiley,James Rosenquist,Frank Stella,and Kiki Smith.The Museum gets about 60,000 visitors a year.
In November 2010, construction began on the new MAM building in Museum Park in Downtown Miami. The building is designed by Swiss architects Herzog and de Meuron. The new museum building is being built alongside the new Miami Science Museum building at the redesigned park. The building is to be 200,000 square feet, composed of 120,000 interior square footage, and 80,000 exterior square footage. The new MAM building is expected to open in early 2013, and the Miami Science Museum building shall open in 2014.
