Yes Chicago is a great city.

The New York attitude isn't meant to be rude and people take too much things to heart. yes they will bump into you if your walking slow or just standing in the middle of the sidewalk, talking on the phone... taking a picture.. or whatever. Its just there way of saying 'hey your being rude.' New york is actually a very polite city, lots of people open doors for you, standing in line at Chipotle or Starbucks someone would always compliment my hair or outfit and start a random conversation
