hmm im a bit suspicious, is roserbaum, KCmasterpiece, alcatrazred, and guitarmas5 the same person? Oh well, Kansas city is nice, good skyline, I would say top 5 in the Midwest

For me, Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis, KC, and Cincinnati have the best midwest skylines

To be honest, while I think Omaha's skyline isn't bad, I can see why it is near last. At the moment it's not too great in comparison, but considering the city's size, it isn't half bad. Des Moines definately has us beat though. I think they have the best skyline when takng into account the number of people.

I actually don't like chicago's skyline. I like the idea of a group of buildings you can wrap your arms around, in one dense area that radiates out on all sides. chicago tends to hug the shore and is one long stretch of buildings. It's ugly in my opinion. I lacks easy definition. And I have yet to see it all contained in one picture.

Default No!

I don't know about the others, but I am only me...no alter-egos. I live in wichita, have been to KC several times and love it there. I'm going back next month!

It's just hard to get 1,100 buildings in one picture. I've seen it many times, but it's so far away you can't really make out much detail of the buildings.

i've always liked Chicago's skyline because you can come at it from so many different angles and always find something "new"

The Skyscraper started in Chicago. It's only right they get the honors for the Mid-west, if not the US. Well, NYC first. Than Chicago!!!!!

Chicago, no debate. View from Millenium Park, Adler Planetarium, even driving in are always inspiring.
