Mississippi has better food and entertainment as well. Alabama is really better at nothing... Georgia has the better mountains and cities... Mississippi has the better food and rural culture... Tennessee has the better music... Florida has the better beaches.... and Alabama is constantly trying to try to make themselves sound and look better even though they will never catch up (note the ridiculously out of place skyscraper in Mobile, for instance, that makes that entire city look like it has a "size" issue...)
I love when people talk about places like they are people.

Well, I was responding to the quote that Mississippi is better than Alabama at everything, and Alabama is good at nothing.

And I'm sorry, but Mississippi is pretty pathetic in football this year (of course I'm talking college).

Auburn just won the championship last year, and Alabama is currently #2 in the BCS. Mississippi State and Ole Miss??? Ummm.....

I hope you didn't waste a lot of time coming up with this brilliant analysis

I never said Mississippi was better than Alabama at EVERYTHING. Please reread my post. I said that Alabama's neighbors (note the s... it means plural) are better than Alabama at everything. Mississippi is just better at food, entertainment, and rural culture.

Explain how Mississippi is better at food, entertainment, and rural culture. Their food is normal southern cuisine, their entertainment is mainly casinos, and rural life is rural life anywhere you go. Now Mississippi is better at small towns with Biloxi, Natchez, Vicksburg, and Oxford but compared to their neighbor to the west, it's not even a competition.

Extremely subjective. On the vast majority of objective measures, Alabama easily outperforms Mississippi, although its showing might not be the best nationally.

OK, I reread your post, because I've made mistakes in the past (shockingly). Here is what you said:

I don't even see the word "neighbors" anywhere in your post.

Not to harp, but what you said and apparently what you "meant to say" are two very different things.

And I'd stand by my assertion that Alabama is better in college football than most every state in the South, much less the US as a whole. Hell, the last two college NC's are from Alabama.
