I'm giving a big thumbs down to Denver on this one.

Denver is not green. Denver does not have a distinct four seasons climate, as all four seasons overlap (we've had some January days already, today was a November one though), it can snow anytime from October to May, and can also be sunny/60's+ anytime. Denver's summers are hot/t-stormy, dry, and last for exactly three months. It rains for virtually the entire month of May. Throughout the year, it can be 100F, and -15F, IMO that's pretty "extreme". We can get 12" of snow at a time, 60" annually, and about only 17" rain.

OP, for somewhere to be green, it needs to rain there.

All things considered, I'm going with Seattle and Portland too, with the edge to Seattle -- but keep in mind OP, you'll be getting 9 months of gray/overcast/rain, and 3 months of heaven, so yeah, really only two seasons. IMO, SEA/PDX fit your other criteria better as well.
