Which of these major cities do you love the most in the Midwest and why? (btw: I accidentally included Chicago on here). I would prefer votes on cities outside of Chicago to get an idea of which city is the runner-up.

Outside of Chicago, I'd go with Detroit, but only because of their sports teams and being able to head over to Canada.

St. Louis. Good food, friendly people, impressive urban parks, nice architecture, passionate sports fans, loads of history, diverse neighborhoods, and a big iconic American landmark to boot. It's a city that grows on you. The more I got to know the place the more I began to love it. It's one of those cities I have an affection for, with no biassed ties, I just happen to have a really good time in St. Louis during the week I spent there.

Chicago wins hands down. Outside of Chicago, I pick KC followed by St Louis. Haven't been to Minneapolis, but from what I've read and seen, I think it would also be on my list.
