In my opinion the DC Metro area and for runner-up (not on your list)...the Boston metro area.

I would look at Pittsburgh....the area is exploding with job growth...COL is not as eye gouging as that of DC, SF, Boston...Yet offers pretty much the same amenities as the Larger Cities, and competition for decent jobs is not as Fierce (Not Yet anyway) thanks to Pittsburgh huge underrated status.
