It does have Metro bus lines that run 24 hours a day though.

Los Angeles is sub-tropical not tropical, or mediterranean climate.

Honolulu has a pretty good transit system. Much better than Miami's. And I could have sworn Los Angeles is mediterranean not tropical.

Well I've heard San Diego was Mediterranean, so I assumed Los Angeles (being only an hour away) is the same. Maybe they are arid-Mediterranean because of the desert.
