Michigan- No one ever says something nice about it these days...
Texas- were all loud and proud and very pompous according to some
California- The hate is done by Wanna-bes and Fairly so done by ex-Californians
NY- Many people claim: rude people, and hate the fact that NYC beats everyone at everything
Florida- Treated as a 3rd world country...

The most hated state is Florida, and that's shown by the fact that it has been mentioned so sporadically, yet gets almost zero positive feedback on any category on the forum, even it's weather.

Arkansas - by far. Everytime this state is represented in the news, media, or in entertainment it is in a negative or mocking manner. Everytime a thread is posted about the worst states on this forum, Arkansas is one of the first ones mentioned. I tried to get a job out of state in a larger city but couldn't get noticed because of the Arkansas hillbilly stereotype. I can't say the state isn't entirely undisserving of the stereotype; but its wrong to paint everybody who lives here with that brush.

Most people I know don't have high regard for Arkansas.
But there are some nice parts of it.

99.9% of Americans assume every Arkansan looks like this.
I don't know how many times I've been asked by people online if I wear shoes, or wanted to marry my cousin, and I wasn't even born in this state (I'm from California). The stereotype gets so old.

Texas and in 6 months, my sentence here will be up. FREE! There are some points of this state I do like, but overall it has been the people and the weather that have put a bad taste in my mouth.
