Westchester County NY has some communities with relatively high Japanese American populations.

Honestly, if what you are looking for is large numbers of Japanese and not simply just Asians, only Honolulu, Hawaii, or Los Angeles will do.

There really arent many foreign born Japanese in the US outside Hawaii.

The west coast like LA or Portland or even SF would be good choices.

Portland would be a step down since the Asian and Japanense concentration there is lower than it is in the Dallas area.

Since thats what seems to be important to the OP, that should be clarified.

Don't get me wrong I don't hate Texas all that much it has it's pros and cons like any state, but I'm just so tired of it here I want to try somewhere new

I want to move where there's a lot of Asians (specifically Japanese)
because I'm Japanese and I'd feel a little more comfortable if I'm around a lot more of my ethnicity

Ideally I'd love to move to the city where a car isn't needed much
I'd like to sell my car in Texas and buy a scooter be able to get around with that and public transportation like train, and such

I'm alright with heat, the cold on the other hand will be a little hard for me to adapt to if I go somewhere up north

Any Suggestions?
Seattle & Hawaii are chock full of Japanese people.

San Francisco & LA too.

Outdated map, but its still something to go by anyways as the Japanese population in America changes very little from decade to decade
