47 out of 50 states. Haven't been to either of the Dakotas or Montana.

Looking through the lists of the top 100 primary and corebased metro areas (about 120 of them total by the two definitions), the only ones I have not been inside city limits of the core city are Phoenix and Honolulu, for sure, and I can't remember if I've been in Bakersfield, Worcester or Scranton. All the rest, I've been in the central city. Some of them maybe not since the 1960s, and some of them just passing through on the interstate.

I've been in all the states (except Alaska and Hawaii), all of them certainly at least five times and probably ten times. And in every county in the lower 48, at least twice in all but maybe a couple dozen of them.

Only a few states I have not been to in my almost 54 years. New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, and South Carolina. I noticed another poster mentioned that one too. Funny, because I hear all the above states are beautiful.

49 states, too many cities to count. Growing up my Father would take us 6 kids on a Winnebago trip for 6 weeks each summer crossing the country west to east, north to south. Even went through Canada. In the military I lived in a couple of different states also. I have also lived in the U.K., Wales, and in 9 places in Australia. Also visited numerous places through out Europe. I'm telling my age aren't I...

I've been to every state except Alaska and Hawaii. I've found everyone I've met to be pretty darn friendly and helpful, even on the east coast. And I've lived in three states.
