Some additional beneifts from the combined location are the lack of need for parking overall, the same lots serve all three facilities. Also the Broad Street subway station serves all as well.

A few years back there was a concert, Eagles game, and WS game all the same day, that was a mess though

For Phillies games, there's a fair amount of tailgating pre-game. Not as much post-game.

You must not have been at an Eagles game, because there is tons of tailgating pre-game. It's everywhere. Those people live for that.

The other thing about the sports complex in Philly is that I can walk from my house and be at the stadiums in 15-20 minutes by using this

The owner of the detroit red wings is looking to build a new arena and he owns a bunch of land behind the fox theater which he owns as well and that is across woodward ave from the detroit tigers and lions.

Some want to combine the new arena with the nba but I don't think that is a good idea due to the ice surface will be bad. Plus the venue the pistons play at is still a modern place that brings in money not only from nba games but is top place for music concerts that brings in more profits.

Baltimore's stadia are next to each other as are the ones in Pittsburgh. The Seat Pleasant Redskins play in suburban MD, the Washington Nationals play in DC and the Capitals and Wizards play at an arena (Comcast Center) downtown.

The reason the former Washington Redskins are in MD is because the former owner, Jack Kent Cooke, could not reach an agreement with District officials and MD courted him heavily to build what is now FEDEX Field in Prince George's County, MD on former farmland.
