Phillies fans almost seem to enjoy booing their own team. It's rather odd.

Philadelphia. Some places like NY have rough fans, but something just seems to snap in a Philly sports fans head when something doesn't go their way, or they see someone walking the city in another team's jersey.

Booing Santa, spitting on young girls or parents with small children present, severely beating fans of other teams for no reason other than being in their vicinity, harassing their own team/team's family members, etc.

I've never seen Oakland fans in person so I can't pass judgement on them.

There has been Several killings between Boston and New York Fans, including one this past summer where a Boston fan beat a NYer to death with a Baseball Bat.
