Regarding LA weather, how come I see people sometimes wear jackets in the summer time, yet sometimes shorts in December? Is it just unpredictable sometimes?

SF was conveniently left off I guess... in reality it is the 5th largest metro and 4th highest GDP. It isn't my first choice, but I'm sure it would have given the other cities a run for their money on where to live.

I'm pretty sure the OP was ranking MSAs, but CSAs.

According to the 2010 Census, San Francisco is the 11th largest MSA in the country, landing itself just outside of the top 10 ranking officially for MSAs.

I live in the DC area and have been for 21 years (Born and raised). But if I want to live elsewhere, I'm choosing between the ATL, Philly area, and the LA metro area. I chose L.A.
