I could see myself living in Philly or Boston if I had the financial resources necessary to live there. Washington and Chicago would be decent options, too, if I wasn't a starving Social Worker.

If you had included San Diego, this would have been an easy choice. But I had to choose Los Angeles. There's no other place I would rather be at this moment than So.Cal. Which I'm moving to next year.

I have lived in Houston and the Atlanta areas. I would like/love to live in the New York, Dallas, Chicago, DC, and Miami areas. Take or leave the others.

Not Chicago or anyplace in Texas just because of the weather and not Miami because there is no culture there.

Or is it possible that people selected where they actually want to live. 10 votes is hardly a quantitative sample. Contrary to your belief as is demonstrated frequently on here many people like living in Philly, understanding your experience appears to be significantly different from that.

FTR I have not voted but would for Philly, because it is in fact where I choose to live, kind of the premis of the poll I believe

Actually wouldn't mind living in all of them...not necessarily long term though.

I used to live in San Diego in the early 2000's. Lived there for about 5 years.
