Hmmmm. What I might have come up with with 3 minutes scribbling on a cocktail napkin. I was hoping for something more original, clever, or thought provoking.

Seeing as how this is a promo for the book, the good/better stuff is probably in the book itself.
Also, there's another video with alternatives for some of the states.

Obnoxious Patriots fans is the best they could do? Coming from a native POV I can say Red Sox fans are much more fun to joke about, not to mention the Kennedy's and abrasive accents; totally weak. Also what is so French about New Hampshire? And the hippies are in Vermont not so much NH.

Virginia is my favorite - center of civilization to hicksville in 20 minutes flat, pretty spot on.
