-11 when I woke up, -32 windchill. It physically hurts to be out for more than 30 seconds. Blue skies though .

Just got inside and it's 0.
Not too bad though, it's not windy. And it's not snowing.
Here in the Twin Cities it's been a very mild winter. Just over a week ago we had temps in the 50s and 40s. There hasn't been much snow this winter, which has been nice since we got so much last winter.
The way most of us here are looking at it is that it's almost February, which means just 1.5 months of unbearable weather, followed by the beginning of spring. Not soo bad...

Well, after getting just under 27 feet of snow in two and a half months, we're in the middle of a week-long break with clear skies, colder temps, and a strong northeasterly breeze. It was 6F (windchill -10) this afternoon, which is quite cold for this area. It was very good to get a break so we could all get caught up with snow removal, but I won't be sad to start shoveling again. We should be back to our normal programming of overcast skies, highs around 20, and great gobs of snow by Sunday.

This week North Georgia is ranging from daytime highs in the 60's, to nightime lows in the 20's. Supposed to be pretty nice on Sunday, but possible rain through the early weekend. A Gwinnett county mother is suing the local schoolboard for alleged misallocation of funds. Four armed men disabled and robbed an armored bank car in Clayton county. For other news, let's go to Jan in the Fox5 News traffic chopper.

I'm just outside the Black Hills. Yesterday I believe the high was 15. It's currently 59 degrees and sunny. You just never know.

44F and mostly cloudy. Earlier in the week we had some fairly cold weather and snow, and while it was fun for a few days, I'm glad to see our more typical weather again.
