Must admit, Dallas TX has a fair share of well-groomed, well-dressed men and ladies. Whatever stereotypical thoughts one might have of Texas, can be dispeled in Dallas...infact I didnt see anybody wear cowboy boots until I was in Ft. Worth

Also, those in Chicago generally are better-dressed than I ever envisioned. Lots of classic timeless colorful styles, pulled off well by both men and ladies. I have to brave one of the cold winters to compare how the dressing is there this time of year.

Again, I must say I'm always startled by San Francisco Bay Area..it always ends up leaving me an impression of a "poorly-dressed" area everytime I'm there. For whatever reason, one may associate the Bay Area as "well-dressed-type" place- given its status within the country- but surprise! surely it is simply a place where "anything goes" (granted, it is a place where your mind is valued more than your looks)

People from NYC don't dress like you'd expect. There was a tour group that came here (Baltimore) for a concert and skiing, and they were still wearing jerseys, air force ones, baggy jeans. Also, they wore alot of fake gucci, prada, Louis Vuitton...etc. The girls still wore bamboo earrings, zebra & leopard print jeans, Rocawear...they dressed like it was the 90's. They were my age (20s-early 30's).

This time of year it's still classic and timeless, but not so colorful. It's a sea of black, just like the stereotype of New York.

I've been to New York City to visit family several times and have been generally unimpressed with their style. For such a world-renowned city, you would think New Yorkers would have better fashion sense than most U.S. citizens. Not really. I've seen much better down in South Florida and Texas.

People outside of NYC in the wealthier suburbs dress more formally for events and wear the classic, chic clothes the city used to be known for.
