chill out. all I am saying is that the idea that all the fun must be downtown is stupid. take it however the hell you want it but in some areas midtowns and uptowns are more fun.
and I have lived in more than 20 cities and have visited hundreds. I am tired of you all putting Houston in my ****ing mouth everytime I make a comment. i hate having to defend the city all the darn time. I can have an opinion without it having to come back to Houston.
Don't know why it is so important that downtown has to be the most fun.
Wow.
Doesn't have to be just downtown, but one area where people can go for the night and walk the streets.

that is what I am saying. You got it now without putting Houston in my mouth. I can have an opinion without it relating to Houston. I am not from here, was not born here, and from your own words I have been to more places than you.
I have the ability to comment on a place without it being only about Houston.
I spent months going threw city after city in Europe. Cities that are far more compact than NOLA could ever dream off. so please don't lecture me like I don't know anything other than Houston.
Anyway back to the topic. Like I said it is antiquated to think that all the fun must be in downtown. The fun can be centralized in other areas. I know of places that have outgrown their downtowns and moved the center to other areas of the city.
so yes, i am talking about one area where the fun is, I didn't like the spread out system. All I am saying is that that one area doesn't have to be downtown. That comment has nothing to do with Houston. It is just my opinion in general.

I wasn't lecturing you, my posts were just a sentence or two...
of course I will defend it. I love the city i live in and I am proud of it. No need to bring it up when its not mentioned.
Well thats why I thought you were talking about it. No biggie.
