If anyone is ever powerful enough to successfully reduce multiple American cities to the ground in America's current state, then run anywhere you'd like including the moon. Doesn't mean you're going to be safe in that place.

Where would you go hide for maybe the next 10 years?

-If you cross the border (leaving the US) during the war,
you will lose American citizenship, you will be seen as a traitor and
you will not be allowed in the country again for the rest of your life.

-Yellowstone exploded, basically whiped out Idaho, Wyoming and Montana.

Where Would You Go?

I'm thinking Southwest Kansas.
I would hide from nuke terrorists well upwind from major cities. Preferably on a farm where I could exchange work for food and lodging, since the whole economic system would likely collapse. Canada if they would let me in, since I think the system would survive there, and they are ethically superior to the US anyway.

I would hide from Yellowstone upwind of it, and hope that previous patterns of ash deposits would still be the same as past (trending to the east). I think extreme western Canada would be relatively unscathed, but if you want to avoid the ashfall that circles the globe 2-3 times, you're best off in the Southern Hemisphere. The circulating air systems of the northern and southern hemispheres don't mingle all that much, so it might be possible for crops to grow down there.
