I would agree with Hawaii, but as for California being the most disliked? Hell no. I would imagine states like Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama to be among the most disliked.

i don't know the nuances about every single state to formulate a 1-50 ranking.

but i do know that hawaii is most certainly not my #1, and california is most certainly not dead last. not even close. if anything, they're both in the middle somewhere. above would be the southwest, vermont, colorado, oregon, mayyyyybe florida. the bottom would be populated by the deep south and the flyover states.

there are so many of these types of threads, why start a new one? You know it is just going to lead to flame throwing.

You could have just added the link to one of the existing threads.

anyway there is no way I see Cali as being the most disliked states

State favorability poll - Public Policy Polling
Why not? I can see how California is ranked dead-last.

Economic, political, and social problems, plus an out of control overreaching liberal government tends to anger a lot of people, in addition to what comes out of Hollywood nowadays.

Since 1991, 3.6 million people have moved out of California. Apparently even Californians agree

We also have 8 million more people than we did in 1991, mind explaining that?

Immigrants, both legal and illegal, to an extent that wouldn't be allowed in almost any other state.

If you subtract the Asian and Hispanic population (a huge chunk of whom are illegal, which the rest of the US has to pay for), California would in fact have less people than it did in 1991.

AMERICANS are moving away from California. That's a fact.

Simple.

Step 1: Add together the number of people who have immigrated to California from other countries since 1991, the number of people who have moved to California from other states since 1991, and the number of children born to California residents since 1991.

Step 2: From the sum of Step 1, subtract the number of people who have emigrated from California for other countries since 1991, the number of people who have moved from California to other states since 1991, and the number of California residents who have died since 1991.

The difference is ~8,000,000.

Those states with the exception of Oklahoma are part of the south and people from the south generally have a positive view of other southerns. California is stereotyped by most of the nation as being off in its own little world so its not surprising that the state is viewed negatively.
