I am shocked to see just how much cheaper the gas is here in Austin than most cities. It has been over a year, and maybe more than 2 years since gas has been over $3.00 a gallon in Austin. I know it seems like it's been a long time.
I paid $2.16 a gallon for gas at the Valero on Manchaca and Davis Lane in far South Austin earlier today.
I’ve been paying about 3.79 for the past few weeks in Seattle. I live in the city and work by the airport so I’m just screwed. I hear it’s cheaper in Renton and Burien but I never have a reason to go there so the gas savings just isn’t worth it.

Not a Costco member? The one in Seattle is also $3.09.
