I found this map off the Internet. I think it's interesting because it's like every subregion/culture in America will be its own state.

I'd say more of Kentucky, although that area really does fit in better with the Ozarks. I'd include the West Virginia panhandle as part of Pennsylvania, extreme southern Maryland as part of Virginia, all of the parts of Missouri on south of the latitude of the Kansas and Illinois borders as part of Arkansas. I'd also include Northern Illinois with Wisconsin (and if people don't like my opinion, then i'm sorry you feel that way, but it's not my problem).

We've had a similar thread before, but I'll play along..

I suppose that you could combine VT and NH..

Give the MD panhandle to WV..

Give southern IL ( lower third) to Missouri..

Give Michigan's UP to Wisconsin..

Give TX upper panhandle to Oklahoma..

Divide California in half..north and south...
.n
Combine North and South Dakota..

Give SE Texas to Louisiana.
Give the FL Panhandle to the states above them (AL and GA). That would give GA some prime Gulf property.
