Thank you, tigre79 some of my favorite states are there (midwest and mid-atlantic) ... and I like the south but yeah I don't like those summers. Hopefully I will pick a nice state soon enough and I loooooove Alaska. I would love to live there but I wouldn't like to have such a short growing season.

Ronie555 I love Hawaii but hawaii is tropical haha and I cannot grow some thing that I like... like peonies.

Nonsense! Just rake all of your leaves and compost over your garden plot each fall and let the earthworks do all of the work.

A good soil can be produced anywhere. Climate is the more important thing to factor in IMO.
