Ok, since we have a thread about the most eccentric cities, how about the most mind numbingly vanilla place where all the women are Stepford wives and the men prefer them that way (oh, and their kids are perfect, etc)?

There are places where they seem to be trying their best to be that way...

I would imagine it would be somewhere in Maryland or Connecticut. Maybe one of the Main Line suburbs of Philly or Westchester in New York. My dad makes fun of the "Tippy Wives" who live in the new McMansions off of Tippecanoe Rd in Youngstown's most elite suburb, Canfield. In his mind the people of Canfield are rather Stepford-like, however I doubt people from other parts of the country would find Canfield quite so elitest.

Livonia, Michigan.

(more like a cross-between the neighborhood that was portrayed in Edward Scissorhands and The Stepford Wives)

Oh, any number of places in California.

What qualifies California are the freaky plastic people in wealthier neighborhoods-- you can actually tell by the similarities in their frightening faces which plastic surgeons they used. Their physical appearances are becoming that homogenous.

It isn't just that the homes are identical, outside and inside, the cars identical, the clothing styles identical... Not anymore. That describes any number of places. It's literally this physical mutation via plastic surgery into this sort of creepy California One Face.

The Clear Lake City section of Houston. Andrea Yates, Clara Harris, Lisa Nowak live in that section. Is there something wrong in that area?

Obviously something must be wrong with it if it can produce three psychopathic women. Clear Lake must have the ability to turn women to the dark side
