We are approaching the travelling season. What is your city's best kept secret. Whether it's some hole-in-the-wall restaurant or some little shop or plaza even, to an amusement-oriented place that not even the locals are hip to. Share.
There's a hole in the wall restaurant in Victoria known as the Pinto Bean. Local people in the know love it, but you have to phone a business across the street and ask them to look out the window and see if they're open, because the department of health keeps shutting them down.

Ummm......ok....so..... what makes this place good? What draws people there?
Bodega in Boston is NOT my style. However, the concept is very cool. It's a high end shoe and accessory store hidden within a Bodega style convenience store. It's not marked and you have to enter through a vending maching in the back of the store.
I think Piers Park in East Boston is one of the greatest spots in the city. It's one stop on the blue line and a 5 minute walk away from downtown and offers arguably one of the best views of the city anywhere (though Audobon Cemetery is tough to beat too). Here's a shot of downtown from Piers Park.
