Where the heck is NYC in this poll?!? How could you leave that one out, of all cities?

I loved Chicago when I visited for the first time this past week. Although I think I would also enjoy living in Seattle or Portland.

Assuming money isn't an issue and you want nightlife as well I'd say 6 months on South Beach and 6 in Montreal.

In my case it is going back a year....if I could redo it, I would have moved to Portland or Seattle.

As someone who is in their 20s I would pick any city that has a ton of events going on. This would point me to LA or NYC obviously, but some other cities may count, like Seattle maybe or Chicago.

Some of the cities listed are big cities but do not offer a lot for the 20s demographic. Like Phoenix for an example. Phoenix has a huge 20s population thanks to ASU but still offers so few for the college kids and older 20s. Phoenix is better tailored for a 20 year old who wants a sleepier lifestyle, which there's nothing wrong with that but many 20 year olds don't want that.

Exactly! NYC is the obvious choice in this situation.

I went through the same decision a few months back and moved to NYC. Not only was it one of the only cities I could start my career in, but I wanted to feel like I was at the center of it all. At any given moment you feel like you are in the best place on the earth, which is cool. Also I like the fast lifestyle, no car, and am a huge fan of public transportation.
