What pace of city life do you prefer out of these three?
1. The fast paced, hustle and bustle, don't have time, rat race (like NYC, Boston, Philly)
2. The mixed one, with some hustle and bustle and also being laid back (Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami)
3. The totally laid back one, where you say "What's the rush?" (like San Diego, New Orleans, Honolulu).
fast pace, then in the middle of nowhere serene for vacation. Give me all or nothing. I would say the perfect combo would be Manhattan, then have a cozy place little time share shack in the FL Keys or around Santa Barbara.
I love fast paced cities, but I prefer to live somewhat outside in a suburb. Live maybe 15 minutes out of the city so I can have a full yard and a pool and a place to relax.. and then live close to a large city with all of the great attractions of a city.
I did the high rise thing.. its cool to live in them but it just isn't how I want to always live. Plus I love driving. I did however choose fast paced because I would go crazy if I was in a suburb that wasn't apart of a big city.
To visit (at least 1 week): fast paced
To visit (not longer than a week): laid back
To live: in the middle
