Hard to say without knowing what your line of work is. In terms of diversity of job market and past/current opportunity I would say DC/Northern Virginia/Baltimore, Boston, Minneapolis and Denver (in that order) would be the ones to focus on.

A lot of people complain Austin is difficult because the University of Texas pumps out lots of grads to the city and there is tough competition. I would tend to agree. There are exceptions for a few industries and specific skill sets.
Also since it's much smaller than Houston and Dallas there is less to choose from.
San Antonio may have lots of job creation but from what I've seen these are lower-paying types of jobs on average than the other major Texas cities. Houston seems to offer the highest paying jobs and salaries on average.
