Yep, Texas is always reaching for Oklahoma's water sources because it can't manage its own with the bustling population of DFW, not to mention that the water under consideration is on sovereign tribal land (Choctaw and Chickasaw).
Ever since the drought of the 1950s, we have managed our water pretty good actually, building around 200 reservoirs and utilizing dozens of aquifers. The reason why DFW wants Oklahoma water has to do with costs. It is cheaper to bring in water from right across the border, than it is to pipe it from other parts of Texas that are located further away than southeastern OK.
Plus, maybe those tribes want to sell their water to Texas. Last time I checked they were in a legal battle with the state of Oklahoma and OKC over the same water rights: Oklahoma City - Oklahoma Water Rights

Kentucky view..
Ohio: pure hatred. In your face rudeness and arrogance will be experienced by any Kentuckian in OH. They hate us and we hate them. We wish they would take the three KY counties across from Cincinnati with them. They are filled with yankees who have nothing in common with the rest of the state.
Indiana: generally positive
Illinois: Not sure if most people outside far Western KY even know KY borders IL. Neutral
Missouri: Again, not sure if most people outside far Western KY even know KY borders MO. Neutral
Tennessee: Sports rivalries are intense, but most Kentuckians feel TN is most similar state to KY
Virginia: Only a couple counties border VA. I'd said neutral to slightly positive. Most of us have VA ancestry
West Virginia: Viewed as being a mix btw Eastern KY and the industrial areas of PA. Along with TN viewed as most similar to KY
Ohio: pure hatred. In your face rudeness and arrogance will be experienced by any Kentuckian in OH. They hate us and we hate them. We wish they would take the three KY counties across from Cincinnati with them. They are filled with yankees who have nothing in common with the rest of the state.
Why do Ohioans hate so many of their neighbors? A previous poster commented on the pure hatred between Ohio and Michigan and now we are hearing about hatred between Ohio and Kentucky. Is it sports, economics??

It's the Ohio people - that is the common denominator.

I think its sad and pathetic that there is so much hatred and animosity not to mention tons of cliche stereotypes and negativity expressed toward neighboring states in this thread. Anyone who hates on Ohio (or any state) I would simply characterize as a hater. You get what you give in this world.
I'm quite fond of my neighboring states and I appreciate how different they are from the one I reside in and the one I'm orginally from.
Arizona - incredibly beautiful state with a very diverse range of climates and topography. Driving through it can be like flipping through the pages of National Geographic. Has some strong similarities and stark differences to NM. Flagstaff, the Grand Canyon, and Sedona are wonderful. Phoenix gets smacked around a lot but it can be a pretty fun city and great weather being a nice escape at certain times of year with nice desert vegetation and landscaping.
Colorado - Many New Mexicans are Broncos fans and Denver is pretty much the go to city for anything big league. Southwestern CO near the border of NM has some of the best scenery in the Rockies, incredible hiking and skiing.
Oklahoma - friendly salt of the earth folks, I appreciate its agricultural assetts and the expansive views of the horizons on the great plains.
Texas - Huge and diverse place, great food (almost as good as NM), friendly people, exciting and interesting cities to visit, contributes a great deal to NM's economy.

Utah: The speed limit is exactly 8 MPH higher if you have a Utah plate.
Nevada: You can consume alcohol in their casinos.
Wyoming: Gosh, they have even less people than Idaho.
Montana: Neighbors, but polite neighbors who don't talk much.
Washington: We like the eastern parts. We will leave it at that.
Oregon: We like the eastern parts. As mentioned above, we will leave it at that.

At least that's within state borders. I'm hoping my NDN Brethren get everything they want and then some!
Wisconsin - Probably gets the most ribbing (good natured or otherwise). WI is kind of like having a loud obnoxious neighbor with a huge drinking problem. Sure, they can be fun to party with sometimes, but they're a little bit weird and can get annoying fast.
Iowa - Generally positive. We poke fun of them sometimes, but they're good people.
South Dakota - Generally positive. A quiet neighbor that nobody really notices.
North Dakota - Neutral to positive. I've heard some animosity lately, but I think it's caused by envy more than anything. ND has really done well lately because of the oil boom, and they're about the only state that has their fiscal house in order. MN doesn't really have a good answer to that, so the response is usually to attack how "boring" it is there.
Manitoba and Ontario - Positive, although most people in MN live too far away from the Canadian border to know much about them.
Oregon: Rain
Nevada: VEGAS!!!!
Arizona: Hot (or cheap houses)
