I'd assume Illinois just because of the stigma of Illinois already being a very corrupt place.

Ohio. Cops nail you there even for going 1 mph over speed all the time. Look for stories about New Rome.

I certainly couldn't live there. I'd be broke, in jail, or both.

I presume that better examples would be cops who insert foreign objects into a rectum, make deals w/ criminal elements, illegal beatings, stealing drug money and or drugs for redistribution, bribing young ladies into indecent acts to get out of a ticket, etc. That said, Illinois, New York, LA, and California stand out for corruption.

That's not corruption because if you're 1 MPH over the speed limit, you're still speeding and they can legally issue you a ticket.

Corruption is not the same as being a d-bag.

Illinois and Louisiana.
Illinois is the most famous corruption pit of the nation.
But you can thank Chicago for turning it into a high debt embarassment state.
Chicago is the reason Illinois is in the giant mess that it is now. My best recommedation to get away from it is move out of the state. theres Indiana and wisconsin that are only a few dozen miles away depending on where you live in Chicagoland.

Louisiana probably. They have the most cops per capita, too.
