When we had our condo in Redington Shores a few weeks ago, there were a good amount of FL vacationers (probably from the Tampa area or just E), and a bunch from most of the states east of the Mississippi. There wasn't a state that overpowered the others.

We have outlets in the Charleston area and back when they opened, there were tour buses that went there from Augusta, Savannah, Columbia, and sometimes even farther away.

They also do that for the Holiday Festival of Lights at our local county park. There's bus tours from all over the country that take tours to Charleston which include the lights. I've seen FL, NJ, GA and several other states there.

For the most part, midwesterners go everywhere due to proximity so Clevelanders will go to CBus and Cincy, Cincy to Louisville, Indy, CBus, Indy to Louisville, Cincy, CBus, Cle, STL. It's just one big round robin and everyone goes to Chicago.

I live in syracuse, NY and we like adirondacks or catskills for weekend getaways, as well as thousand islands. For holiday/long weekends we usually hit jersey shore or atlantic city.

I go to the Adirondacks a lot and there is a large influx of people from NJ there. In fact, all of my neighbors at my cottage are from NJ.
