I like the Nawlins accent. Maybe the coolest sounding accent in the US. Least favorite (I actually like all accents to some degree) would be upland South: East Tennessee or Eastern Kentucky. That hillbilly twang makes people sound uneducated and ignorant. And lest somebody accuses me of being an East Coast elitist snob, I'm an ethnic hillbilly myself with roots in Tennessee and Arkansas.

nope, just checked with my associates here and we all find it relentlessly annoying.

^ My second favorite accent after the Gulf Coast Southern (the one I have).

I don't find any accent really annoying, but I tend to tune out men with some New York dialects. Women with NY accents sound kind of cute, though.
