This is yet another enigma to me. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, PA ranks 178 in the nation with a per capita income of just $31,875. Nevertheless, McMansions and luxury sedans are popping up like hemorrhoids. What gives?

It's one of those Bogus Lists,and you'll find many of those online,even from Popular Sources.

Anyone else notice how Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura are not included with L.A Metro's Numbers,and where is The Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario area as well???

But once again,NYC has included Jersey and PA as part of it's Metro to boost up it's ranking

If Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario area is included then you LA metro's per capita Income will not make the top 50.

Metros aren't confined or defined by local/state boundaries. NJ provides a significant portion of NYC's metro area (immediately adjacent to it) the same way NYC provides a solid job base for much of Northern NJ

L.A Metro seems to be the only region that becomes divided often when it comes to Rankings,while other Metro's gain places.

Perhaps, but geographically Northern NJ is the very next land adjacent to NYC. Think of the land that is RIGHT next to LA city limits. In some skyline rankings, Jersey City is even included with NYC (not emporis though lol)
