My mom was one of four, her mom was one of eight, and her mom was one of thirteen, whereas my dad was born in Germany. So I have family all over. I think I heard once that we had at least one family in every state, plus a clan or two in Canada. I know I have some extended family in Saskatoon and Toronto.

But the major ones... Iowa (Des Moines and Cedar Rapids), Minnesota (Rochester and a TON in Minneapolis), Texas (Dallas), Washington (Seattle), Colorado (Denver), Georgia (Savannah), Illinois (Chicago), South Dakota (Sturgis), and Pennsylvania (near Gettysburg). And also dotted around Baden-Württemberg in Germany.

Family then: England, Ireland, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales, France, Germany, Channel Islands (Jersey), Switzerland (refugee French Huguenots), Holland (refugee English Puritans who were tobacco traders, with interests in the Virginia Colony).

First immigrants to America: Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Georgia.

Great grandparents: Virginia, Arkansas.

Family now: Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia, Arkansas, Kansas, Texas, California, Colorado. Some of my relatives are in the same state where our ancestors arrived c. 1650; others are seventh generation in a state our family reached in the 1840s; others are the first of our line in other states.

I have family spread all over North America. Most of my dad's family lives around Portland, Oregon, and moved there from the San Francisco Bay Area in the 80s. Also on my dad's side, I have an uncle in Sacramento, 2 cousins near Seattle, an aunt in Alberta, an uncle in Toronto, an aunt in New Zealand, and a distant aunt and uncle in Spain.

My mum's family is spread out across the US. Her and her siblings grew up in East Texas. I have an aunt in Colorado, an aunt and uncle who used to live in New York but moved back to Texas, an uncle who moves around for his job a lot and is currently in BC, Canada, and an aunt in New Jersey who plans to move back to Texas as well. My gramma lives near Houston and most of her siblings live in Connecticut.

Not sure. Haven't been able to trace those ancestors back that specifically.

That sounds pretty similar to my family.
