Baltimore's crime rate is too high. Murders are down, but it's still one of the most dangerous cities in America. Lot's of potential but until it figures out the crime problem it's not going to jump on --or zoom up -- any hot spot lists.

Get in on the ground floor while you can. The price run-up has already started in the East End and South Side Flats/Slopes.
Forgot to mention it has a top-notch urban aesthetic the young folks seem to dig.

Kansas City MO. We have a large Medical Software company located here called Cerner that is hiring a ton of young grads, this company could be massive. Sprint is starting to rebound and we have a pretty solid tech base. Our economy never suffered during the depression. We have google fiber which is internet at speeds of 100 gb. Lots of great restaurants. Been featured in a ton of travel magazines and tv show as the place to visit in 2012.

Google Fiber is going to be big for KC. Im expecting a nice tech boom in the coming years. That would obviously bring jobs to the city.

I think I have to agree with this. Nice city. Only downside is too many Steeler fans there.

Leftist radicals will move wherever their policies can do the most damage.

I'd imagime Hosuton. It seems to shedding some of it's old cliches and steretypes, has a more diverse and growing economy, pro business, becoming more concious of what makes a city more livable, and a globally diverse population.
