New Orleans doesn't feel southern? lmao please.... It is a very rare combination: Old South & Urban. If NOLA doesn't feel southern then I guess Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA don't feel southern either?

That is not really the only reason people consider New Orleans unique (and to an extent Savannah and Charleston). But of course they are still considered Southern cities.
