Carmel is a wonderful Suburb. I consider it to be America's hidden Gem. There are so many wonderful things about this northern suburb of Indianapolis but one of the main things is you can get alot of bang for your buck. Carmel is very affordable compared to other suburbs of other cities that are similar to it in amendities.

The town DH & I just bought in (Florissant, just north of St. Louis and part of the greater St. Louis metro area) got #76 on the list. We were pretty happy about that!

Best place to live? Northeastern NJ. Suburb life + greatest city in world next you + diverse + easy access to all sorts of transportation + nice nature + many opportunities.

New York City may be the *Greatest* city in the western Hemisphere. But that doesnt make it the *Best City* to live in.
Greatest and Best are 2 different things.
The Main killer for NYC is the speed of the city/cost of living/housing. Plus the crude culture doesnt help. New Yorkers arent superior to anyone so they shouldnt act like it.
