GIS (Geographic Information Systems) techonology is really big right now. I know the local community college here in Grand Rapids offers an associates degree in it.
Laura, if you can narrow down your search to a few states (as opposed to the whole country), I have access to a licensed (pay) site where I can print a list of colleges that offer whatever major you're interested in. PM me if you want more info. Otherwise I'm sure there are free sites out there that can do the same thing if you look around.
